ITENERARY

11 Days / 10 Nights Tanzania Safari & Zanzibar

Day 1:

Arrival & Pickup – Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be met by your professional safari guide. You will be transferred to your hotel in Arusha town, where you can relax and recover from your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short orientation or explore the lodge surroundings.

​Day 2:

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Spend the day on full-day game drives, with a picnic lunch inside the park. Expect sightings of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a variety of bird species. In the late afternoon, drive to Karatu for overnight stay.

Day 3:

Karatu – Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, drive to the Central Serengeti (Seronera area), passing through scenic landscapes along the way. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive, spotting lions, elephants, giraffes, and zebras on the expansive plains.

Day 4:

Full Day Game Drive – Central Serengeti National Park

Spend a full day exploring the Central Serengeti, with morning and afternoon game drives. Observe predators including lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as elephants, giraffes, hyenas, and vast herds of zebras and wildebeest. Enjoy lunch at your lodge or as a picnic in the park.

Day 5:

Half-Day Game Drive – Serengeti & Drive to Ngorongoro

After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning half-day game drive in the Serengeti. Later, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, taking in the beautiful landscapes along the way. Arrive in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 6:

Ngorongoro Crater Tour

After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. Explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site and its dense concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, wildebeest, hippos, and the rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before ascending back to your lodge in Karatu for overnight.

Day 7–10:

Zanzibar

Transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your beach hotel or resort. Spend the next four days at leisure enjoying tropical beaches, crystal-clear waters, and optional activities such as snorkeling, diving, spice farm tours, Stone Town cultural excursions, or dhow sailing.
Overnight in Zanzibar.

Day 11:

Zanzibar – Departure

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your unforgettable safari and beach holiday.
